Der FC Barcelona dürfte seinen Erzrivalen Real Madrid im Kampf um die spanische Meisterschaft wohl endgültig abgehängt haben!

Im "Clásico" am Samstag Abend avancierte Samuel Eto'o vom tragischen Helden zum Matchwinner, nachdem er in der 70. Minute einen Foul-Elfmeter vergeben hatte: In der 83. Minute erzielte er das viel umjubelte 1-0 für Barca. Und Lionel Messi setzte in der Nachspielzeit noch das Sahnehäubchen drauf und erzielte das 2-0. Hier die Video-Highlights:

EURO 2008 Final: Spain beats Germany 1-0 (Video)

With a deserved victory over Germany in the final of the European Championship, Spain won their first major title for 44 years. This victory rounded off a fantastic overall performance of the Spanish team throughout the tournament.

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres was the man of the match, shaking Germany's Philipp Lahm off after Fabregas's pass and lifting the ball cleverly over keeper Lehmann after 33 minutes.

Congratulations, Spain – and VIVA ESPAÑA!

EURO 2008 Spain vs. Italy 4-2 (Video of penalty shootout)

In Sunday's quarter-final match, Spain booked their place in the second semi-final of Euro 2008 as Iker Casillas emerged as the hero in a dramatic penalty shootout win over Italy, and will now play Russia on June 26 on the way to the final. For a full match report click here!

EURO 2008 Holland vs. Russia 1-3 (Videos of all goals)

Holland and Russia were drawing 0-0 at half-time of their Euro 2008 quarter-final on Saturday night in Basle, Switzerland. In the second half, Russia took the lead on 56 minutes, Roman Pavlyuchenko volleying home from a cross by Semak. With five minutes to go, Ruud van Nistelrooy headed in the equaliser at the far post from a free-kick by Sneijder.

During extra time, Russia was the better team and took the lead again on 112 minutes, when Torbinski scored a fantastic goal at the back stick from a cross by Arshavin, who sealed the win with the third Russian goal on 116 minutes. Russia will now play either Italy or Spain in the semi-final in Vienna on June 26. (For a full match report click here!)

EURO 2008 Croatia vs. Turkey 2:4 (Video of all goals)

Croatia met Turkey in the quarter-finals of the European Championship this Friday night. As the score was tied after normal time (0:0) and a dramatic extra time with two last minute goals (1:1), a penalty shootout was necessary. Turkey won 3:1 on penalties and will play Germany next week in the semi-finals, after Germany's win on Thursday against Portugal.
