He's 62 today, he's still going strong, and forget about his pregnancy belly: so what! He was Pink Floyd's strings. Their voice. Their heart. Their soul.
Just watch his performance on 30th May 2006 in London, surrounded by friends – at one of those places where music's bound to survive, the Royal Albert Hall!

Pink Floyd habe ich schon öfters gesehen, aber das Gilmour-Konzert 2006 habe ich leider verpasst ;-)
nö, ich meinte nicht 2006 sondern das Pink Floyd-Konzert im Januar 1977 in der Westfalenhalle.
Pink Floyd ließ damals erstmalig das Schwein fliegen....
Da war ich in Düsseldorf dabei!
och schade, hätte ja sein können, dass wir uns schon mal begegnet sind ;-)
